Suzanne Toolan RSM, musical mentor and longtime friend, and Johna. Suzanne and I have been friends for many years. It was from watching her that I became aware that songs can emerge from days and weeks of silence and meditation. Suzanne is the composer of “I Am the Bread of Life,” and “Jesus Christ, Yesterday, Today and Forever,” among many others. She continues to live and write music with her community in Burlingame, CA.
